Aine is forced to live with Sakuya's brother Ralph to keep him from ODing Sakuya. Once Aine agrees, he has her escorted away and Sakuya is taken to the hospital with word sent to his group as to where he is. Ralph tells Aine that she is going to fuck him and enjoy it, or hell have Sakuya killed, but Aine can't fake it and apparently he isn't ready to rape her just yet, so she manages to keep him off for awhile. Sakuya announces on TV that Lucifer is going on hiatus and that he is traveling to America. Aine sneaks to the airport to see him, and he tells her to wait for him, not to let Ralph touch him, and that he will be back for her. Aine waits for three long months, managing to keep Ralph at bay, but he's finally fed up and ready to rape her in his office. Aine threatens to kill herself if he doesn't back off, but then they are interrupted by the door bursting open. In comes Sakuya...the new president of all of Ralph's companies, and then some. It seems he went to America and got his father to turn everything over to him! He tells Ralph he'll give it all back if he let's Aine go. Shocked, Ralph asks if he really going to give up such valuable assets for a girl, and asks if he is crazy. Sakuya says yep, he's out of his fucking mind. Ralph agrees, of course and leaves while Sakuya and Aine are finally reunited. As Sakuya and Aine leaves, he lets her know how much he missed her in the backseat of the limo.
Unfortunately, now Aine finds herself unable to write the sexy lyrics needed for Lucifer's lyrics. Sakuya decides to put her on a sex diet, and tells her she isn't getting any until the three songs for their new albums are written. Then he takes a few opportunities to turn her on and walk away, frustrating her even more than she was when she was a virgin. Of course it works, and she's able to write the lyrics. When she goes to take them to Sakuya, though, she hears him in a room with a moaning woman and thinks he is cheating on her. He sees her run off, though, and drags her back to show her that it was a porn star they had hired to make moans in the background of one of their songs. Then he proceeds to make Aine do some moaning of her own, and as punishment for not believing in him, he says they'll use her moans for the song instead.
Things can't stay settled for long, though. Sakuya has been cast in a mini-series with an actress named Ayako Sakura. Aine soon learns that Ayako was Sakuya's first, having taken him when he was 12 and she was 20 (go Sakuya!). Aine is disturbed at first, but Sakuya tells her that while other women may have his past, only Aine has his future. Ayako doesn't like that Sakuya isn't interested in renewing their friendly relations, though, or in how she always sees Aine with him. She tries to get Aine kicked off the set, but Sakuya is able to stop that. So she sets someone out to dig up the dirt on her. The show keeps Sakuya busy, so he and Aine decide to go on their first real date one night. He blindfolds her in the car and spirits her away to dinner with a view...in an airplane! How romantic can you get! Ayako is pissed off that Sakuya brushed her off that night, and while Sakuya and Aine are enjoying themselves, she learns the secret of Aine being Lucifer's lyricist. When Sakuya and a slightly tipsy Aine return to his apartment, a photographer shoots pictures of him. After they get upstairs, the photographer calls Sakuya and tells him about taking the picture and that he can't be bought off. Sakuya thinks for awhile, then leaves while Aine is still sleeping. He goes to Ayako's who is waiting for him to gloat that she knew he'd come...and that it was time to "refresh his memory" while she stands in a skimpy outfit.
What a bitch...can't handle a guy not wanting her any more, so she makes him come to her anyway. Now the question is, will Sakuya go through with it, and break Aine's heart in the process, or will he find some way of dealing with Ayako. I can only presume she hired the photographer and had him tell Sakuya that he either goes to her or Aine's true identity is leaked to the press, which would set the psycho fans on her big time. I'm glad I have volumes 4 & 5 already ready for me to read! I'm so glad I started this series. The drama is interesting and with the heat between Aine and Sakuya so evident, its a wonder the pages aren't made of fire-retardent paper!
